Executive President SOP Commitment

 

 

Amount of time for a 5-year commitment as School Nutrition Association of Iowa Vice President, President-elect, President and Immediate Past President.

 

1.      Incoming Vice-President -     Future Leadership April/May prior to installation- 3 to 4 days.

                                         Summer Board Meeting/State Annual Conference- 3 days

                                         State Leadership Conference – 1 to 2 days

 

 

2.      Vice-President -      State Fall Board Meeting– 2 days

                                  -      Optional:  School Board Conference- 1 day

    -      Winter State Board Meeting/State Legislative Meeting- 1day

    -      National LAC – Washington, DC – February/March, - 4 to 5 days

    -      National Leadership April/May- 3 to 4 days

    -      Summer Board Meeting/ State Annual Conference – 3 days

    -      State Leadership Conference – 1 to 2 days

 

 

3.      President-elect -      State Fall Board Meeting– 2 days

    -      Optional:  School Board Conference – 1 day

    -      Winter State Board Meeting/State Legislative Meeting- 1day each

    -      National LAC – Washington, DC – February/March, - 4 to 5 days

2.      Vice-president:        Watch & learn

                                          State Annual Conference Co-Chair.

                                          By Laws, Resolutions and SOP Committee Chair

 

 

3.      President-elect:        State Annual Conference Chair.

                                          State Strategic Plan of Action Chair.

                                          Plans State Leadership Conference.

                                          Delegate to SNA’s House of Delegates.

                                          Selects Committee Chairs for your year as President.

 

 

4.      President:                 Conducts Executive Board Meetings.

                                          Organize State Industry Meeting.

                                          Oversees the Strategic Plan of Action.

                                          Delegate to SNA’s House of Delegates.

                                          Mentor President-elect & Vice President concerning their job responsibilities.

 

 

5.      Past President:          By Laws, Standard Operating Procedures and Policies Chair.

                                           Scholarship Committee Chair.

                                           Prior Approval  Chair.

 

 

During your 4-year “Presidency”, attend or delegate attendance to as many District workshops and Nutrition

Seminars as possible.
